These gloves give you the best feeling and adherence in all weather conditions. Made specially for the colder riding conditions with thicker and more water/wind resistant material along with extra grip on the palm and fingers. The S3 Alaska Gloves are a great choice for any cold weather activity. They are wind-proof and thick enough on the outside to protect your hands, while thin enough on the palm to provide a great feel.

    Great cold weather gloves

Great fit, warn outer layer, thin palm side.. keeps the wind off you, but allows good control on grips.

    Stretchy & Warm

Posted by Matt on Dec 30th 2019

I'm glad they are stretchy. I typically wear an XXXL glove, so I was forced into an XXL, which is the largest size available. The gloves were uncomfortably tight when I first started riding but over the course of a 4 hour ride they loosened up. A friend told me she had a similar experience. Once I got beyond the fit issue, the gloves did a great job of keeping the cold off my arthritic hands. While I'll still felt a bit of a chill in my index (lever) fingers, the difference between these and my regular Fly Racing gloves was quite noticeable. So far I'm happy with them after only one ride. We will see how they hold up over the winter.

    Work surprisingly well

Posted by Hopper on Jan 16th 2019

I bought some cheaper gloves on Amazon and even tried some rubber coated gloves from HD. Neither worked well. These S3 gloves are not inexpensive, but they do work great. My winter riding is in 20 to 35 F, and my index fingers only had about 20 minutes in them before they would freeze/seize up. My hands are actually WARM after a session in these gloves and my index fingers are not cold at all.
IMO They run a tad small. I normally wear a large glove, and I did buy a large in these, and they just barely fit properly. If you are between a L and XL normally, I'd try the XL.

    high quality without the bulk

These gloves are nearly as thin as my under armour infrared gloves but much nicer. They’re snug for a large but should work nicely for riding when it’s cold out. I have not tried riding with them yet, but I have no doubt that they will be great.
